Our practice in Europe
The European Corporate Finance consultants are based in ten hubs:
Benelux (Amsterdam, Brussels), Scandinavia (Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Stockholm), Germany (Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich), UK (London), Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva), Mediterranean (Milan, Rome, Istanbul), Iberia (Lisbon, Madrid), Eastern Europe (Prague, Moscow), France (Paris) and Middle East (Dubai).
Together, they make up a virtual pan-European McKinsey office, which enables cross-border staffing, research and knowledge exchange. Corporate Finance consultants operate both in conjunction/cooperation with generalist McKinsey teams and on a stand-alone basis for highly technical “execution type” engagements. They adhere to the same rigorous working principles, problem solving standards and ethics as all other McKinsey consultants around the globe. Our clients benefit from the professional independence of our financial advice – the very qualities that distinguish McKinsey consulting worldwide.
This international approach is reflected in all the work of the practice. Transfers to other locations within the virtual office are common, we organize joint training courses, and work, mostly in English, with an international perspective.
