About McKinsey
  McKinsey’s Corporate Finance Practice

To provide our clients with the support they need in the new financial environment, McKinsey set up a specialized line of service: the Corporate Finance Practice (CF).

The Corporate Finance Practice serves the increasing number of blue chip companies turning to McKinsey & Company for objective, independent advice on the best way to grow and to create shareholder value.

Our assignments cover virtually every sector of the global economy, old and new, ranging from transportation to healthcare and peaking in M&A-intensive industries such as banking and multi-media.

We also provide on-going counsel and advice to senior management even when we are not directly involved in a specific transaction.

Our practice comprises over 350 dedicated consultants and research staff worldwide. Corporate Finance consultants generally operate in teams with individuals from other areas within McKinsey, both industry sectors and functional practices. Such team structures allow us to apply to each piece of work the range of skills and experience necessary to meet our clients’ needs. Our consultants adhere to the same rigorous working principles, problem-solving standards and ethics as all McKinsey consultants around the globe, and have identical professional development opportunities. Our clients benefit from the professional independence of our financial advice – the very qualities that distinguish McKinsey consulting worldwide.
